Rudolph Berger
Rudy was born and raised in Chemnitz Mathilden Sacksen Germany. At 13 he came to America with his brother Fritz. Rudy’s education was up to the 8th grade as most children in Eden Prairie due to farming and being needed at home.
Rudy being so young and new to America, he started working right away. He was a helper at Crosby-Wirth print shop, hired hand farming in Eden Prairie. It was here where he met Ada Mitchell. And they started their dairy farm with Guernsey cows that milked a creamy more finished milk.

Ada grew up in Eden Prairire
Ada Mitchell - Berger
Ada lived in Eden Prairie all her life. She was a hard worker, growing berries, and raising chickens. She graduated Eden Prairie School in 1925. Their first home was just across the street were Cedar Hills was located. My mother told me stories of fetching the cows after a long day at the hills. Their 2nd home was the one I remember being off Eden Prairie Road. It was white in color, neat as a pin. And the food that she made was utterly delicious. Im sure she learned this from her mother.
