Alexander Jr. & Dolly White – Mitchell

I have shown a map that says Grass Lake and the homestead was about in the middle of the top of the lake. 

I remember asking my grandmother what she did as a child. She said “well, not allot of anything”. I suppose the mundane life of living on a farm, always doing chores didn’t seem interesting to her but it was to me. She was an excellent cook and she probably helped in the kitchen with her mother. 

Grandma Ada  had 3 brothers and I know Howard did allot of fishing as an adult. Which makes me think that he spend time fishing on Grass Lake as a young boy, since the lake was basically in their back yard.
